Unit 2

Journey On:
I would like to welcome you to my blog. I have never blogged before so please bare with me as I am very new to this blogging technique.

I, myself enjoyed the relaxation exercise. I have so much stress I am faced with everyday. I do have relaxation music cd's I listen to all the time. The Journey On was a great experience for me, however, I feel I did not get the expected results I was to achieve. I was in a quiet place where I had no intteruptions in my environment. I think I just have so much going through my mind that I just can not totally relax. I am facing health issues and I am struggling financially, and I WORRY ALL THE TIME.

I plan on listening to the Journey On as much as possible. I do hope that it will work for me because I am totally stressed. I also plan to search other relaxation techniques to help me deal with the stress. This stress level has brought me down and it has really put me in severe depression mode. With my depression, I am in pain everyday, and I need to be able to fight this feeling because I have my son to worry about. Thank you all for reading my post! Jean St.John

  1. I, like you, are very stressed each and everyday. I have two younger children who keep me very much on my toes. They are the best things in my life, but definitely stress me out completely. I have never tried relaxation CD's, which one's do you listen to? I also have the problem with being able to let my mind wander; I have the tendency to continuously have something on my mind at all times, making it very difficult to completely relax. I wish you luck in being able to let everything out of your mind, so you too can have a little bit of relaxation and peace in your life.

    1. Thank you for replying to my blog. As for the relaxation music, I bought a 3 cd set at Wal Mart quite a few years ago, and only paid $10.00 at that time. You could even search the internet for relaxation music and download to a mp3 player and then listen that way. Thank you again for responding, Jean

  2. Hi there,

    If you worry all the time, these relaxation techniques would be a good practice. I know what you mean, I used to stress about everything - kids, neighbors, money, you name it. My hypnotist got me interested in relaxation tapes and self hypnosis and it has made a world of difference. There are so many out there to choose from that you can spend a whole day searching for the ones that you like. I have a couple on my phone - short ones - less than ten minutes - that are great pick-me-ups for a rough day. They help a lot with the worry. :)
